Writing a note to someone who asked how I was doing, I realized I’m sitting in front of a large group of threes.
3 shifts left at Starbucks (Saturday is my last day working there)
3 years is how long I have worked at Starbucks
3 weeks until I leave for Colorado (I’m shooting for September 10th)
3 months of being a student in a YWAM school (called The School of Missions Communication)
33 is my age
3:30 is when I have to be at work today
$3,000 is how much money I will need for the 3 months of school

I like this kind of list because it makes me feel like stuff is important and meaningful in a way that is bigger than me.
Does that even make sense?

What are the 3’s happening in your life?

  1. I have three daughters and three sons. I always buy grocerys in threes. (three cans of corn, for example) I have three grandsons and three granddaughters. I’ve been married three times. I have three best friends. How’s that?

    1. I didn’t know that about you buying groceries in threes!

Who are your three best friends?

      That’s great! I love you!! 🙂

  2. Don’t forget that Jesus was 33 when he was crucified.

Off topic, did you design your website? I was going to make a wee suggestion. I’m not sure if it’s something you can do, but it would be super keen if you could enable subscription to comments. That way when people comment, they’ll get an email when you or someone else comments. 🙂 I always comment on a blog and then forget to check it later to see if anyone responded to my comment, and comment subscriptions do that. Basically the same way that you get emails whenever someone comments on a Facebook status, or picture.

    1. I did not forget about Jesus- in fact, when I was approaching 33 all I could think was “I’m going to be the same age Jesus was when he died for our sins”. I will do nothing so swell this year but it’s interesting to think about.

A friend of mine has put together the website… I will ask about comment subscription- thanks for bringing it up- I hadn’t thought of that!
